Factory Studios and M.A.S Records open scheme

Calling all local bands! Bristol’s Factory Studios are offering an exciting opportunity for 30 new bands with members aged up to 23; giving away free mentoring, rehearsal space and studio time as part of this year’s M.A.S Records scheme.

The label, who’s patrons include Robert Plant and Underworld’s Karl Hyde provides emerging artists with a bridge into the music industry, combining expert music industry knowledge and experience with conventional training and education.

Bands that participate in the scheme will receive around £3,000 of free services along with invaluable mentoring from music industry luminaries.

A number of bands have used the scheme over the last decade, including Sweep Deep, Deluka, Octane OK who secured professional management and recording contracts.

Leon Curry, co-director of Factory Studios, said:

“The music industry has changed dramatically over the past decade and M.A.S now fills the role of a record label development department, offering promising young bands a route to success. We’re really looking forward to meeting this year’s intake.”

Applications will be held next month. To apply, email your registration to info@factorystudios.co.uk by 18th August.
