With today marking the first of August and their new album Joy As An Act Of Resistance out at the end of the month, Bristol stars IDLES have announced a series of in-store shows to celebrate the release.
Taking place at Rough Trade in Bristol on 31st August, the band will be performing two live sets during the day and evening (3pm and 7pm) as well as doing an album signing. Tickets can be purchase when pre-ordering the album via the Rough Trade website – the 7pm show is currently sold out.
In addition to the in-store shows, IDLES have announced a new pop-up art exhibition to celebrate the LP.
The pop-up store will take place at HM Electrics Gallery in London on 30th and 31st August, displaying artwork from the deluxe edition of the album, along with work from selected artists including Orlando Weeks of The Maccabees.
All the artwork will be for sale at the exhibition, with all proceeds going to Samaritans.
