Singer-songwriter Dave Dixon, better known as Tamu Massif has shared a new song called ‘Holding Back’, his latest following the 2015 release of his debut EP Alba.
Like much of Dixon’s work, the song features delicate acoustic guitar lines and intimate electronica with layered vocal effects. The Weston Super Mare based artist originally wrote his songs exclusively on the acoustic guitar, but soon began experimenting with more contemporary sounds and compositions, giving birth to the pseudonym Tamu Massif.
Tamu Massif is about to embark on a European tour in support of Shakey Graves. The songwriter has also announced the following UK live dates, including appearances at this year’s Dot to Dot Festival.
25th April – Manchester, Gorilla w/ Shakey Graves
