We’ve just returned from the fields of Gilcombe Farm for this year’s Farmfest and had an absolute blast! Catching many of our favourite music acts from the South West and beyond!
And while we indulge ourselves in the lovely late Sunday afternoon sunshine, in cased you missed it before the weekend, Bristol based artist Dave Dixon aka Tamu Massif released a new song from his forthcoming EP.
Titled ‘OK’, the piece blends the songwriter’s inner-thoughts and calculated instrumentals, once again forging music that’s emotionally delicate as the song embodies the reality of losing someone close to you.
Talking on the New Year’s Eve-inspired sounds that come to life in the final third, the artist says, “I sampled the sound of the celebrations in the second half of the song. I thought it’d be interesting to contrast those celebrations with something more contemplative and melancholic lyrically.”
‘OK’ follows previous single ‘Holding Back’ – both of which will feature in his next EP coming soon.
