We’ve gone for all out Bristol round-up of new tracks this week so let’s jump to it!
SLONK – Jane’s Boots
Joe Sherrin is the talk of the town at the moment following a busy few months with his band Milo’s Planes and solo project SLONK. ‘Jane’s Boots’ is the latest indie jingle from the Bristol artist, backed by honest narrative and charm that’s irresistibly good.
Sœur – Left Living
Bristol rockers Sœur have just launched this beast ‘Left Living’ and comes at the right time, following their appearance at Reading & Leeds Festival and biggest headline show to date at the Exchange. Hard-hitting and on point, it’s only getting better for the three-piece.
Cousin Kula – Working For It
These guys are the real deal and yet again impress with their latest cut ‘Working For It’. Get stuck in to this psychedelic dreamboat ahead of the band’s single launch this Friday at The Kuumba Centre.
Harvey Causon – Alliance
We premiered this gem the other day and has been stuck in our heads ever since. Leisure Records will be releasing Harvey Causon’s single ‘Frisson’ on 29th September, but for now check out the incredibly slick b-side ‘Alliance’ with it’s electronic/indie vibes that are sublime from start to finish.
Nugget – Arcade ft. Mouse (live)
Due to release her debut demo tape via Breakfast Records, Bristol artist Nugget has shared a live recording of one of tape’s tracks, ‘Arcade’. Fluttering guitar strings and vocals that are beautifully moving; this will win many hearts for sure.
New Palace Talkies – Unnecessary
New beginnings for Bristol’s New Palace Talkies as they return with new single ‘Unnecessary’. A quirky tongue-in-cheek approach on a break-up mixed with delicate indie and electronic swathe that’s both soothing and vulnerable. A fresh and promising comeback.
