Wolf Alice are back! Listen to new single ‘Yuk Foo’

Having teased fans with mysterious post cards and lyrics the past few weeks, Wolf Alice are officially back with new material and details of their second studio album to be released this Autumn.

Visions Of A Life is the follow-up to 2015’s acclaimed debut album My Love Is Cool, and will be released via Dirty Hit on 29th September. What’s more, the band will embark on a huge UK/European tour to celebrate the release, hitting the city of Bristol (o2 Academy) on 8th November. Tickets go on sale on 9am this Friday.

‘Yuk Foo’ is the first taster of the new album, clocking in at over two minutes of grunge unleashing mayhem.

Talking about the new song, singer Ellie Rowsell, said:

“We wanted to make it open to interpretation, so that anyone who was frustrated at something could have it as their anthem.”

Saying the track is inspired by “being sick and fed up of certain expectations… for me a lot of it is about being a young woman. Even the shit, everyday wolf-whistle thing. As I get older, I feel like ‘Why have I always put up with that?’ When I sing that kind of song, it’s everything that I want to do when that happens.”
