British electronic and nu jazz group The Cinematic Orchestra are visiting the Bristol Sounds stage to give us a breathtakingly atmospheric performance. Combining horns, synths, drums and more, this is a band who can gently joy with your emotions but leave you feeling euphoric and rejuvenated. They will fill the entire harbour with their elevated experimental yet inclusive music, my fingers are crossed for a guest appearance from Roots Manuva too, who appears on their album, To Believe.
Opening the night is Ghostpoet; musician and poet Obaro Ejimiwe who creates dark electronic post punk, delving into extra terrestrial realms of robotic heavy vocals. This is set to be a life affirming, skeleton knocking gig with plenty of moments for soundtracked reflection and escapism.
