It’s that time of year again. Festival season is round the corner and the excitement is very much real. With many festivals all around the UK, one of the best festivals is ready to take place in London this June.
Camden Rocks is a two-day festival showcasing some of the best new and popular bands in over twenty of Camden’s iconic and intimate venues. Genres you can expect to hear range from indie, rock, punk and metal.
Two strong headliners close each day of incredible music. Headlining day one is Frank Turner. With an impressive seven albums under his belt, fans can expect an incredible set. Day two sees Deaf Havana headlining. Known for being a chameleonic rock band, fans expecting pure rock will be surprised. The band seamlessly includes different genres into their songs with a strong basis of alternative rock.
The impressive lineup also features The Pigeon Detectives, Skinny Lister, Eliza and the Bear, ASH, The Wonder Stuff and many, many more.
One venue not to miss is situated in the Dr. Martens flagship store. Ticket holders get a chance to enter a ballot to win a spot at the 60 capacity venue to see Deaf Havana or The Pigeon Detectives headline the iconic stage, featuring stripped back, intimate performances that you won’t want to miss. You can also expect incredible sets from Milk Teeth, The Dunts, Sleeze and White Eskimo on day one, and Roe, REWS, Lazy Day and Snak Dracula on day two. From grungey punk rock to alt- rock and incredible guitar riffs, the Boot Room stage is sure to be a fan favourite for those lucky enough to get a spot.
Make sure you get down to the venues early to ensure you get a spot and avoid missing out on some of the best new music you’ll hear this year. The artists are ready to rock Camden and we can’t wait to be a part of it.
