Goan Dogs, with their goofy dance moves and swaggering melodies, are the talk of the Bristol music scene. Set for even bigger success, they’re wrapping up their March/April UK tour, crashing on home turf just in time for the release of their new single ‘You Drive Me Wild’.
Carefully releasing a string of three exalting singles (‘Drifting Apart’, ‘Devil Inside’ and ‘Flying Business Class’) they’ve mercilessly teased fans over the delivery of each neat package of indie hook, Latino rhythm and bromance harmonisation.
Successfully gaining the support of BBC Introducing, there last gig in Bristol saw a packed out crowd dancing among the pews of St Thomas the Martyr Church (BYOB helped). Their current UK tour will reach its climax on 7th April, when their desert indie energy will infuse the crammed box that is the Exchange.
With the catchy choruses and husky vocals of local artist Joe Probert as support, this is going to be a night of swinging hips, sweaty talent and surely some outrageously inappropriate behaviour.
Failing that I hope fans realise that learning the synchronised dance moves to ‘Flying Business Class’ is mandatory for door entry.
‘You Drive Me Wild’ will be available online from 14th April. Tickets to the launch show are available here.
