With all this fantastic sunshine we’ve been having, it can only mean more good tunes and luckily we have a fine selection of music for you to enjoy this week!
Bristol pop artist Rothwell has shared her summer hit new single ‘Left Me at the Party’, taking on the sunshine with pulsating pop production (Tim Powell) and soulful vocals that simply win you over. Be sure to catch her at Dot to Dot Festival this weekend!
A welcome return for Bristol artist Ellis Jones aka Trust Fund with new single ‘Carson McCuller’, named after the famous American novelist. Shimmering guitars, cool drumming and heartfelt lyrics that open up throughout. Big love.
The summer tunes keep on coming and another glorious wave of dreamy guitars and pop hearts from 2018 stars Pale Waves. The Manchester four-piece also play Dot to Dot Festival later this week and one we certainly recommend to catch live.
We just caught Snail Mail live at The Louisiana and wow what a performance from the Baltimore based 19 year old singer-songwriter. Intricate guitar styles and beautiful honest lyrics won over the sold-out crowd, leaving us excited for the debut full length album. Stay tuned for our review of the show but in the meantime, check out the short but incredibly sweet number ‘Let’s Find An Out’.
A rare treat from the ever wonderful musician Rhain with her dazzling new single ‘Solid Gold’; delivering a sparkling and unique twist of addictive alt-pop that might just make its way to the top of your playlist.
