It’s Friday (yay!), the sun is shining and it’s incredibly cold outside. But not to fear, as we have the perfect music remedy to keep you warm this wintery month.
Bristol music is certainly thriving right now, even more so when new stars continue to emerge. Meet singer-songwriter Mae Bradbury, who is just one of those examples. A talented wordsmith who blends elements of folk and contemporary pop to form music that’s incredibly beautiful, calm and true. To date, Bradbury came in fourth place in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards (2015), released her debut EP Bones (2017) and has performed at festivals, including Smoked and Uncut, Glastonbury and LakeFest.
Now into 2020, the Bristol based artist is sharing brand new material and we’re incredibly excited to give you an exclusive first listen to Bradbury’s new single ‘Here I Go Again’ which will melt your heart in seconds.
Talking about the release, Bradbury said:
“‘Here I Go Again’ is my new single that I wrote with my good friend Amy Sergeant. It grew from a tiny melodic idea written on a sleepless night in my bedroom into a full band piece. It’s a song about the frustration you feel when you can’t move forward from something that’s knocked you back. We worked hard on creating a sound that fit with the lyrics through driving chords and floating melodies. I was really lucky to have such amazing musicians involved in this project as well as Amy who played, recorded and produced the whole thing.”
