Hayley Williams Breaks Rock Record As Female Solo Act

Hayley Williams breaks rock record as female solo act

Hayley Williams entered our hearts as the lead singer of Paramore in 2004. The rock band overcame personal obstacles, public break ups and topped the rock charts anyway. Now the female powerhouse has broken her own rock record as a solo artist with her own material and we couldn’t be more proud!

Hayley Williams dropped deliciously experimental album, Petals For Armor on May 8th this year and showing us dimensional levels to her talent. Her fans loved it and multiplied and the album sales reached 22,000 in less than a month, pushing it to number 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums Chart. If that wasn’t impressive enough, this makes Hayley the first female to ever lead the Rock Album Charts as a solo act and with a band (according to Billboard). What an achievement not only for Hayley but for females in the industry everywhere!

We would like to send congratulations and big thank you to Hayley Williams for being not only a huge talent, but an inspiration (and for giving us this awesome new album to play on repeat)!

Buy or listen to Petals For Amor out now. The number one rock record of summer!
