Share your music! Introducing #gigsfromadistance

It has to be said this isn’t the easiest time to be a musician. The effort it takes to pour yourself into what you do can take it’s toll. So it’s always a joy when you finally get to share your music, which at the moment is somewhat problematic to say the least.

The team at Tap The Feed have watched in anguish as endless gigs and tours from artists and bands we admire and love have been cancelled one after the other. So we’ve decided to do something about it.

Inspired by the Italian porch singers, we’re excited to introducing to you Gigs From A Distance #gigsfromadistance.

If you’re an artist/band who has been affected by the mass shut down of live shows due to the global health crisis around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we’d like you to use our platforms to share your music performances.

It’s very simple and easy to set up. All we need from you is the following:

  • A video of the band playing one or more songs in bedrooms, lounges, wherever!
  • 50-100 words about the music or any releases you have coming out.
  • What show was cancelled and where it was happening so we can link the venue and promoter in
  • A press image

We will then share your performance on our YouTube Channel and link it to an article feature with your words and press photo.

We’ll also make use of our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms to spread your musical news as far as we can.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please send us your details to info@tapthefeed.com and copy in stuart@tapthefeed.com.

Any questions, just let us know. We want people to discover your music, that’s why we do what we do and why we love it so much!
