With the festive season behind us and our brief hiatus now officially ended, we’re back with our weekly roundup — The Feed.
2020 is already off to a banging start with this week’s releases from bands and artists who are sure to make an impact on the year ahead.
Straight off the bat, we have Sam Brockington, providing emotive warmth with his moving new single ‘Nothern Slang / This Time’. Georgia’s clean and floral vocals are present as ever in ‘24 Hours’, while fellow London livers Gengahr fill the room with their punchy yet chilled tune ‘Never A Low’, which will carry you right through to the weekend. The Big Moon kick their decade off with second album Walking Like We Do, which introduces brass and woodwind instruments to their already rich sound, while channelling 90’s pop into the mix. Charging head first into the future, Demob Happy release thick and sticky single ‘Mother Machine’. Finally, Bombay Bicycle Club finish off this week’s round-up by gifting us with beautifully intricate melodies in ‘I Can Hardly Speak’, a single from their soon to be released album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong.
Enjoy and until next week!
